Recruitment & Application Phase
We generally visit campuses each fall for “Meet the Accountants” night to interact with potential recruits. We also visit some schools during spring semester for career fairs and presentations. Most area colleges also post our job opportunities on their campus career center websites. Please adhere to your school’s application procedures.
During the fall semester, primarily, we conduct on-campus interviews. If we are not scheduled to visit your particular campus, you can still apply online to be considered for an initial phone interview.
Round Robin Interview
The most extensive of our interviews, our half-day interview event is conducted via round robin giving you the opportunity to meet with several members of our management team. You also will mingle with our staff and former interns, learn more about Cohen & Company and play a few fun games! The day will conclude with a group lunch.
Receiving an Offer
Should we decide to extend an offer for employment to you, we often do so within a few days of the round robin interviews. However, everyone who participated in round robins will be notified of our decision within two weeks.
All candidates are welcome to follow up with our team at any stage in the process to receive an update.
After reviewing your resume, we may contact you to discuss further the opportunity and your background via phone.
If we feel that you are a potential candidate for Cohen & Company, we will ask you to complete an online assessment during the interview process.
The next step is an invitation to one of our offices to meet Cohen & Company team members and to discuss the opportunity further.
Receiving an Offer
Our interview process can be extensive, and there isn’t always a specific timeframe for making a final decision. However, we will do our best to set expectations and keep the process moving. If at any time you would like an update, please feel free to reach out to us.
